About

Cragganmore Croft is a 17 acre, working croft around 14 miles from Inverness. We moved here in 2015 and since have built up a herd of Toggenburg and Anglo Nubian dairy goats who roam over the entirety of the croft, through mixed woodland, pasture and craggy scrubland. In 2020, we were fortunate enough to gain support via a Crofting Agricultural Grant to build a purpose built, steel framed timber barn to house our herd.

In the next year or so, we will develop our milking area and hope to build a small, dairy processing area to make cheese and other products.

We have chickens and ducks to keep the goats company and eggs can be bought from the end of the road

Goat meat is available once a year, everything else we do at the moment is for the consumption of our own family but we hope to extend this to the dairy business and sales of excess vegetables grown from our polytunnel.

Cragganmore Croft is the home of potter Rachel Cullen, making domestic stoneware pieces as much as time allows!
